Our Mission
Ouray County Performing Arts Guild (OCPAG) is a not-for-profit organization, bringing quality events in music, dance, theater and other genres to Ouray and Ridgway. Our purpose is to sponsor presentations and performers of the highest caliber in the performing arts for the enjoyment of Ouray County's residents. Several concerts are free events, provided as a gift to the community. |
San Juan Chamber Musicfest
A yearly Chamber Music event under the artistic direction of world renowned and highly acclaimed concert pianist Max Levinson. The festival features evening concerts in Ouray and Ridgway plus a special Salon and Master Classes for piano, violin, and cello. |
Fine Music of Various Genres
Artists from around the country perform music from Classical to Celtic to Bluegrass to African Drumming. On special occasions we invite international performers. Events are held at Ouray and Ridgway venues. |
Concerts in the Park
Admission to these concerts is free, provided by OCPAG as a gift to the community. Events are alternated between Ouray City Park, Ridgway Town Park, and Ridgway State Park. |
Sunday Salons
Our Salons are special events, usually held on Sundays at lovely private homes in the county. Attendance is limited. Reservations are secured by a donation commensurate with the event. |
Scholarship
We sponsor graduating High School students in Ouray County pursuing a college program in the performing arts. |
Performances by local Students
We sponsor musical and theatrical performances by students from local schools to assist them with fundraising efforts. |
