Scott Ibex is an award-winning (Indie Acoustic Project 2023) musical artist originally from New York City. Five years ago he found his love, happiness, and family in the Czech Republic. He winters there performing at jazz festivals (Mandau Jazz Official Artist Selection 2023 and 2024), clubs, and, at city sponsored musical events. During the spring and summer season he returns home to the US to perform and tour.

Scott has been fortunate to play with many big names in modern blues, jazz, and solo-acoustic guitar such as: Henry Franklin (Pharaoh Sanders, Stevie Wonder),
Rich Dixon (Frank Sinatra), Clifford Adams (Kool and the Gang), Erica Brown (BB
King), Dick Earl (Bronze Medal - Memphis International Blues Contest), Antoine
Dufour (CandyRat), and, in Europe, with Matej Ptazsek (Hohner/Frontman).

Since moving to Europe, Scott was selected to perform his blues act on the
Mandau Jazz Festival Blues Train. During listening room concerts, he proudly
shares stories about the art of the blues, life on tour, and his career as an artist who
has released 10 original solo albums. His artistic versatility enables him to perform
in many different venues beyond festivals. Whether entertaining in fine dining
restaurants, opera houses, jazz clubs, hotels, or small pubs and cafes, Scott knows how to play to the crowd as a professional. He always enjoys the opportunity to craft his songs in the many different venues throughout the world.

Buddy Lane emerged from the Fort Worth music scene alongside a circle of kindred spirits at a small, but influential venue called MacHenry’s. His sound is rooted in the old Delta blues, featuring finger-style guitar traditions of the 1930s and 1940s, complemented by select pieces from the Folk and Americana songbook.

His musical influences include blues pioneers Lightning Hopkins and Robert Johnson, as well as more contemporary storytellers such as Townes Van Zandt and Keb’ Mo’. Buddy has been mentored by Dave Millsap—longtime guitarist for Delbert McClinton—and Fort Worth blues legend Raleigh “Rolo” Smith.

A natural storyteller, Buddy performs only songs that resonate deeply with him, sharing the stories and inspiration behind each selection. His music is best experienced in intimate, listening-focused settings—wineries, art galleries, listening rooms, and boutique music venues —rather than sports bars or honky-tonks.

When he’s not performing, Buddy is often found hosting song circles around a campfire at his home on Lake Murray, Oklahoma, drawing together musicians and artists who are inspired by his genuine spirit and warm hospitality.

Buddy is also deeply committed to his community. He regularly collaborates with local musicians and artists to support philanthropic causes and charitable fundraisers. He is a former

board member of Southside Preservation Hall, a nonprofit historic wedding and event venue in Fort Worth, Texas, where he remains involved in music programming. In addition, Buddy books music for the Listening Room at Marvin’s Place Art Gallery and contributes to programming at The Goddard Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
